Server Migration Successful! - Friday, April 11, 2008
I am happy to report that the migration to the new server and control panel is completed. Any issues please use the support area to report any issues. You can see now we offer Sharepoint hosting at no additional charges!
 

Server updates - Tuesday, January 29, 2008
I will be holding off upgrading the server until the release and testing of Microsoft Server 2008. Project planning brings us into April to see this upgrade. Bob Penn  
Server changes - Wednesday, January 16, 2008
MESSAGE to All PennHosting.net customers: We will be starting shortly new server migration of customer data and databases which will introduce faster servers, more space and bandwidth (at same cost!). We will also introduce a new control panel that integrates into our existing mail server for centralized management. This strategy will allow us to achieve 0% downtime. Once each site is migrated, it will be on a test web address for you to test prior to releasing it to the public. I will need you to test your site to make sure it is working 100% before we redirect your clients (the public) to the new server. I'll be sending your test link once migration is completed (within the next week or so). P.S. this migration is no cost to you. These adjustments and changes are needed to use the latest cutting edge internet technologies.  
Framework 3.5 Update - Sunday, January 06, 2008
ASP.NET 3.5 Support All servers now fully support ASP.NET 3.5 .NET Framework 3.5 builds incrementally on the new features that were added in 3.0. In addition, 3.5 contains some new features which have been added as new assemblies to avoid breaking changes. They include the following: - LINQ: Language Integrated Query. - ASP.NET AJAX - New Web Protocol Support. - Visual Studio 2008 Support - New Classes

As some of you may have already noticed. We installed an application to help keep track of support/sales questions and issues. This system automatically tracks issues via e-mail and/or web. It also includes a built in Knowledge base that we will build on with common questions and answers we both come across with your future web hosting needs. Also, support issues will be retained for up to a year. More information can be obtain below.
